A coil spring exactly designed for the specific application realizes the desired motion and force, stores the mechanical energy and enables a flexible connection and locking. Meconet contributes to the customer's design team as the specialist of coil spring design, production, material technology and surface finishing. This ensures the functionality and the long service life of the designed spring.

Customer-tailored coil springs are widely used in the electrotechnical, electronics, machine construction and vehicle industries and for example in the manufacture of medical equipment. The spring production varies from an individual manufacture to the mass production of tens of millions of springs.

Spring materials are spring steel as well as stainless, acid proof and heat resitant spring steel and tin bronze. The wire diameters of compression and tension springs vary from 0,1 to 16 mm, of torsion springs from 0,2 to 16 mm and of double torsion springs from 0,5 to 10 mm.

The spring surface is painted or plated with zinc, nickel or chrome. Shot peening is used for enhancing the fatigue strength of cyclically loaded compression springs.
